For the best experience, yes. The app is how you request rides, order food ahead, manage your drink tokens, and participate in the treasure hunt. But if you buy a pass and don't download the app before event day, you'll still have a QR boarding pass from your confirmation email that works at check-in.
Full refund if the event is canceled by GratisFare. No refunds within 48 hours of the event. Partial refunds may be issued for documented medical issues. Transfer your pass to someone else anytime before the event through the app.
